2012 Housemarque

HELSINKI, FINLAND – February 2, 2012

Independent Finnish developer Housemarque, the critically acclaimed studio behind Super Stardust HD, Outland and Dead Nation, have today released Furmins, a physics based action puzzle game releasing for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Furmins finds players attempting to guide the eponymous and loveable creatures across fiendishly designed levels by rearranging a variety of items as well as using bumpers and conveyor belts in real-time with well coordinated precision. Their quest – to travel across the length of their world to wake up their King who has fallen asleep, rolled over a river forming an impromptu dam, blocking their flow of water and threatening their very existence! Strategically placed items create pathways and physical chain reactions which guide the furmins to the basket and level completion.

The game is available in two versions; a Universal app along with a less expensive iPhone/iPod version. Both contain the full game containing over 70 levels across 6 game worlds, as well as hosting in-app purchases for additional downloadable content.

The Universal version of Furmins is priced at $2.99/€2.39/£1.79. The iPhone/iPod version is available for $0.99/€0.79/£0.69
