The REAP - Tips & Cheats
WEAPON AND WEAPON-UP MANAGEMENT
The careful management of weapon power levels is crucial to your success.
Do not add power to a weapon already at maximum power. This is particularly
important when you are reinstated with a new life. Collect the weapons
your last body left and select the weapon you wish to boost before you
collect the Weapon-Ups. If necessary you can change the selected weapon
before collecting further Weapon-Ups.
THE WEAPONS :

THE PICK-UPS:
SPEED UP - Increases your ship’s overall speed.
ENERGY UP - Boosts your ship’s energy up.
WEAPON UP - Adds a power level to the weapon you are currently loading.
SPECIAL ITEMS
- Rapid Fire; initiates quick fire by just holding the fire button.
- Mega Bomb; ‘clears the area’.
- Shield; protects you during an important phase.
MAXIMIZING YOUR SCORE

SHOOTING It is recommended to use your fire a lot in order to survive.
Some of your ammunition reaches even outside the screen damaging your
enemies even before they are visible to you, so you are better off,
if you shoot in a non-stop fashion.

SPLATTERING SOLDIERS You gain extra points if you shoot the enemy
soldiers that fly out of exploded vessels. If you hit the airborne
soldiers, you gain “splattered bonus” from each hit soldier.

EARNING PICK UPS If you destroy the whole attack wave (for example
a set of aeroplanes heading towards you), you can earn useful extra
pick ups by destroying every vessel in that particular attack wave.

MEMORIZE THE ENEMY ATTACK WAVES In order to maximise your score
and chances to gain special pick-ups, it is recommended that you will
learn how enemy attack waves (like a group of aeroplanes or submarines)
behave and at what point of the game they appear. If you remember where
the next attack wave is coming beforehand, you can position yourself
in the best possible place in the screen to counteract your enemies.

ABDUCTING You can abduct sheep and civilians instead of shooting
them. You can gain a special bonus, if you use abduction instead of
destruction. You can abduct sheep and civilians simply by flying over
the victim you wish to abduct.

CHANGING THE ORDER OF LEVELS In each of world (Antarktis, Atlantis,
Desert and Industrial) you can change the order in which you play different
levels. You can try to experiment with different paths to find out
optimal scoring chances.
