At Housemarque, we

  • are a 12-year old game development company based in Helsinki, Finland;
  • create concepts based on our own or licensed/publisher's properties;
  • are working on a PS3 eDI and an Xbox 360 XBLA project;
  • are interested in discussing projects based on publisher´s brands as well as Housemarque´s concepts.

Our mission is to develop innovative interactive entertainment products consisting of addictive gameplay, stunning graphics and state-of-the art technology.

Based on our experience in the game development, we are able to create compelling interactive entertainment concepts to create fantastic interactive experiences with the help of our internally developed state-of-the-art console technology.

The most important fact, however, is that Housemarque has the ability to implement innovative ideas in time into a great product with our state-of-the-art technology. Also, hitting the deadlines is important to us and all of the major productions developed by us have been finished in time for the important Holiday/Christmas markets since our "The Reap" for PC in 1997.

Supported platforms:

  • Xbox. Published game. Autumn 2002- "Transworld Snowboarding" by Atari
  • PS2 / PSP. Internal technology and demos.
  • PC. Four developed games 1996-1999.
  • Other platforms. Our experience dates back to Amiga times and have proceeded via PC to consoles. We have also done development on GameCube, Sega Dreamcast, Palm OS, Gizmondo, Tapwave Zodiac, hi-end Java JSR184 and Nokia N-gage & Symbian 60.

We have a production pipeline based upon Alias Maya content creation tool, our own core architecture and libraries enabling us to create state of the art content in a multi platform environment.
